Alastair Provacateur is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Desiderata Valley, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: FreeTime. He was the husband of Becky Provacateur, the father of Lucy Mole (née Provacateur), and the grandfather of John Mole. Alastair is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave. He has the Romance aspiration, and the Aries zodiac sign.

As far as personality, Alastair is very outgoing, somewhat active, and a little bit neat. But he is quite serious and grouchy. Alastair is one of the few ancestral Sims to die as an adult, so he died a premature death. He wears the same clothes as his grandson John. According to Alastair's age data, he had 29 days left in the adult life stage when he died. His facial structure is almost if not identical to the 12th Maxis face template in Create a Sim.
