Amar Hamilton is one of the pre-made teenage tourists who resides in the secret sub-neighborhood Exotic Destinations, shipped with The Sims 2: Bon Voyage. He is usually seen while visiting hotels and community lots from foreign destinations. Amar travels with Marion, Lindsay, and Marylena Hamilton, but even if they appear to be a family, they aren't related. Amar has to travel by plane when invited by other Sims. He can be made playable by befriending and sending him to college, or aging him up with another teen.

Amar has the same facial structure as Derek Vijayakar. As far as personality, he is very outgoing, quite nice, and somewhat playful. But Amar is very sloppy and lazy. He is mostly interested in Environment, Food, Money, and School. Unusually for a pre-made tourist, Amar has pre-set relationships with all the pre-made Ninjas from Exotic Destinations. What makes it even more unusual is that ninjas can not be interacted with in normal gameplay. He also wears jewelry which is uncommon for pre-made Sims.
