Ariel Walsh is a pre-made townie Sim featured in Isla Paradiso, from The Sims 3: Island Paradise. She can be made playable by marrying her, or asking her to move in.

At the start of the game, Ariel already has 7 points in Scuba Diving and has mastered Charisma. She also has five points in the foosball hidden skill and three points in the dancing hidden skill.

In terms of appearance and traits, Ariel is possibly a parody of the main character of the 1989 film The Little Mermaid like Mia Azul, though the Sim Ariel is not a mermaid. Besides having the same first name and a similar appearance, the main character of the film could also be considered to possess the technophobe, excitable, and friendly traits.

Ariel's relationship with Rubisel Ichtaca, who is based on the prince from the Little Mermaid story, might imply that she was the mermaid he saw and has since become human to be with him. As with the original story, he is more interested in another woman and only considers her as a friend.

Ariel also shares her last name with Aislin Walsh from Dragon Valley and Darling Walsh from San Myshuno. Whether she is related to either of them is up to the player's imagination.
