In all games, Sims can play ball.

The Sims 2[edit | edit source]

Sims can play basketball[TS2:FT] and soccer.[TS2:FT] Additionally, the following play interactions are available:

  • Play Catch
  • Toss Football

The Sims 3[edit | edit source]

Balls are now separate objects that can be purchased from buy mode. Playing ball builds the athletic skill, and jock influence[TS3:UL].

Foot-and-hand-ball[edit | edit source]

Foot-and-hand-ball
Unlike other games that are played purely with the feet, or purely with the hands, foot-and-hand-ball is played with both, depending on the phase of the game. Perhaps that explains its prolate spheroid shape that makes it completely impossible to kick, throw, or catch.
