Barbara Young is one of the pre-made townies in The Sims 2 who resides in Strangetown. She can be made playable by befriending her and sending her to college, or aging her up with another teen if FreeTime is installed.

Like all townies in The Sims 2, Barbara's skills, career and relationships with other townies are usually randomized at the start of the game. She has the same facial structure as Carmen Patch from Pleasantview. Barbara can be identified by her long hair and purple shirt with a denim skirt and green shoes.

Barbara's interests are randomized at the start of the game. It is only referenced in the game files that she has no interests. When Barbara is first spawned in-game, she will be a C student enrolled in public school.
