Bud the Repo-man is an NPC repo-man from The Sims. He will only come if there are unpaid bills on the lot. Biils that go unpaid change colors over the course of several days, from white to yellow, to orange and to red. After red bills go unpaid for more than two days, a warning appears at 7:00 AM that they must be paid immediately. At 6:00 PM the next day, the red bills will explode. Bud will then arrive on foot and confiscate one or more household items that add up to the amount owed. Sims cannot stop Bud once he arrives and he will not leave the lot until he is finished repossessing as many items that owe up to the bill. If the player removes the doors leading into the house, the repo-man will simply use his gun outside, and the object will still be repossessed. He can be avoided by deleting the mail carrier before she posts the letters, which is recommended if there are only children living on the lot, as children cannot pay bills. Like all other NPCS, he cannot be interacted with any way and will arrive and leave the lot on foot.
