Cat person

Not to be confused with Cat lover.

Cat person is a trait featured in The Sims 3: Pets. It conflicts with Animal Lover, Dog Person, and Equestrian. In The Sims 3 Pets for console, it also conflicts with Fur Allergy.

Sims with the Cat Person trait are happiest when they are surrounded by multitudes of felines.

Attributes

• Cat people build relationships with cats much faster than other Sims.
• Training cats is much quicker for Sims with this trait.
• The Sim prefers to socialize with cats over Sims.

Player notes

• Sims with the cat person trait may get a negative moodlet from seeing their cat's ghost.
• When interacting with cats, Sims will gain a positive 10+ moodlet called 'Cat Playtime'.
• When a Sim has the cat person trait, the first Lifetime wish is "The Cat Herder".
