Reminder...[edit source]
Just a reminder to everyone; whenever you add {{delete}} or {{speedydelete}} to a page, image, category, etc. it automatically gets placed on the Delete lists - Category:Candidates for deletion and Category:Candidates for speedy deletion. These lists are watched by a few admins and are also auto-updated on the Admin portal. That means that, often, there is no need for discussion here about page deletion. Here's a good rule of thumb:
- If something is bad and should be deleted immediately, use {{speedydelete}} and wait for an administrator. If none deletes the offending item within a reasonable time, leave a message on this page or directly on an admin's talk page.
- If something obviously should be deleted (if, for example, a page is misspelled) but it isn't urgent, use {{delete}} and wait for an administrator to delete it. If it takes a while to get deleted, politely remind us to do our jobs on this page or our talk pages.
- If something exists that, in your opinion should be deleted, but where there is the possibility of a difference in opinion among users, then use {{delete}} and start a discussion on this page so that the deletion can be decided.
Of course, if ever in doubt about whether something should be discussed by the community or not, always opt to open up discussion. The only mention of this Sim is in the description of Bridgeport. From what i've seen there is no other mention of him in Bridgeport or in any of the other Sims 3 games.Bafendo 12:36, November 3, 2010 (UTC)

Merge and Purge[edit source]
I think the page Merge and Purge should be deleted on the grounds that it gives a name to a "strategy" - a name which is not common in The Sims lexicon (I've never seen or read the term prior to seeing that page). - Family bin would work, as it already mentions the ability to merge households. It wouldn't have be be a full merge, just a mention that it's possible to merge two households, then use "Find own place" with a newspaper or computer to move the original family out. I can see it being used as a way of passing a house and its contents from one generation to the next, while having the older generation move into another house. - Those categories are going to be for specific buildings that redirect to a general page. A working example is Tomb. It lists all of the tombs in World Adventures and each specific tomb has a page that redirects to it but the redirects are categorized by both their type and their location in one of the three neighbourhoods.
