Game | The Sims: House Party |
Playability | NPC |
Chip the Dancer is a pre-made NPC featured in The Sims: House Party. He is one of the male entertainers who can be hired from the large cake. He seems to be the "good" male dancer, judging by the reactions of Sims around him, who tend to cheer and applaud when he appears; his "bad" counterpart is El Viz the Dancer, whose appearance usually elicits boos and fist shaking. His female counterparts are Bunny the Dancer and Jane the Gorilla. His name is most likely a pun on the Chippendales, an all-male dance troupe known for their striptease act; he also wears a costume very similar to that usually worn by members of the troupe. Interestingly, he shares his name and appearance with Chip Snooty Patooty, a downloadable Sim who was made available from the official The Sims website to coincide with the release of the original base game. However, it is unclear what connection (if any) is intended to exist between the two.
