Contessa Capp is a pre-made and previously playable, yet deceased, Sim from Veronaville. Earlier on in her life, she went on a vacation with her family in Roaring Heights.

Born to Octavius and Scribonia Capp, she was a childhood friend, and later lover, of Patrizio Monty. Later in her life, she became the wife of Consort Thebe, who himself was a former friend of Patrizio. She had four children with him: Goneril, Regan, Kent Capp and Cordelia.

Biography

Life leading up to The Sims 3

Contessa returns alongside her family in the store world Roaring Heights. She is currently a young adult, living with her husband Consort, and their then two children Goneril and Regan. It is implied that she and her family moved there to enjoy a vacation, and are now looking at their estate, in order to buy a house. When the game starts, Contessa is pregnant with her third child, a fact she has not yet learned of. Using Pregnancy Check mod, it can be discovered that she is 10 hours pregnant. She is unemployed and does not have any skills learned at the start of the game.

Life leading up to The Sims 2

She died of old age shortly after her youngest daughter's death. Her urn can be found inside Capp Manor. None of her children remember being taught their toddler skills, though Consort remembers teaching some of the toddler skills to his children. The remaining ones may have been taught by Contessa.

Originally, she probably was planned to be alive, as she is one of only three deceased Veronaville Sims to have a pre-made biography (the other two are Claudio Monty and Olivia Monty). She also has personality points, as many deceased Veronaville Sims do not. She can be resurrected using the Resurrect-O-Nomitron and will look just as she does in her headshot. She will still be linked to Consort Capp in the family tree, however, they won't be married. The player can have them restore their marriage by getting remarried.

Contessa Capp has blonde hair in the family photos and in The Sims 3, but when viewing her Sim DNA in SimPE, her hair genes are for black hair. This may be an oversight, as none of her ancestors have any genes for black hair. If she is resurrected, her relationships with Consort and the other Capps will be at the acquaintance level. She will have no relationships with any of the Montys. However, when viewing SimPE, she has several relationships with Capps, Montys and Summerdreams.

Even though Contessa is a Fortune Sim, she has a hidden Family aspiration token. According to SimPE, she was 2 days younger than Consort when she died.

When editing in SimPE, Contessa's skin tone genetics are not recognized. Because of this, she may sometimes produce a child with a different skin-tone regardless if the other Sim doesn't have genetics of that skin tone. It appears that the installment of some expansion packs fix this strange behavior.

Resurrection tip
