The FFS Lot Debugger, also known as the Batbox due to its design, is a custom object developed by J. M. Pescado intended to provide options to fix several bugs, glitches, and other issues in The Sims 2. It was first released on July 20, 2005,[1] and was updated throughout the game's lifecycle to accommodate all expansion and stuff packs. It is considered by many players to be one of the most essential mods for the game.[2][3]

The debugger is very simple in design, appearing in-game as a six-sided black box with the Batman symbol on top. Because of its unusual appearance, there are third-party options available to disguise it as another decorative object.[4]

The debugger does not have a very detailed documentation page, leaving most of its options undocumented. A list of known options and their functions can be found at Game guide:FFS Lot Debugger options.
