Fangaloka Manave is a pre-made playable elder Sim from Felicity Island, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Castaway Stories. He is an island native and the Chief of the tribe. He is the husband of Huhana Manave and the father of Nanihi Manave. Fangaloka first appears in the Shipwrecked and Single story at the Village Harbor, to thank the protagonist for saving his daughter's life. He then invites them to the tribe's Volcano Festival as his honorable guest. The protagonist has to pick a date there. After the festival is over, Fangaloka invites them to come live with the tribe and they accept the offer and move in.

When the protagonist moves into the Village Residence, Fangaloka asks them to retrieve his sacred drums from the cursed and abandoned Forbidden Village, since the shaman won't allow anyone from the tribe to go there. Once Fangaloka's request has been accomplished, he will call for a celebration at Hullaba Luau.

At Hullaba Luau, Chief Fangaloka declares the protagonist friend of the tribe and gifts them the promised rudder for the raft. Suddenly the volcano erupts and the Chief orders everyone to get back to their huts.

Next day, the protagonist's lover gets cursed by the volcano and went out into The Jungle to die alone and protect the village. Chief Fangaloka is there too when the protagonist arrives and says they must all flee and that the tribe has experienced the curse before. The protagonist convinces the natives that it's no curse, but a disease and sets out to find a cure. Chief Fangaloka also gets sick, but eventually the protagonist finds the Staff of Tuzu and cures all the villagers.

After the story is finished, Chief Fangaloka and his family will be living in The Chief's Hut and become playable from there. Despite the story, he isn't related to Huhana and Nanihi, which is most likely a mistake.

Fangaloka has the Popularity aspiration and the Aquarius zodiac sign. As far as personality goes, Fangaloka is very playful and nice, but quite sloppy, shy and lazy. He has no skill points. He is mainly interested in Culture, Weather and Crime. According to his SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was black before it turned grey.
