Aden and his family lived out of town before he met Tanya, when they moved to Windenburg, Tanya went to welcome him to the town, and they fell in love. Aden was one of the only people that Tanya told about the fact that she died as a child and came back to life a while later. Tanya and Aden went out on a date, in which Tanya almost died by becoming too playful. When Aden and Tanya became young adults, Aden moved in with her. Aden proposed to her eventually, and they married in the romantic gardens. During the wedding, Tanya and Aden discovered they were expecting a baby. Tanya gave birth to a son, and named him Drayke Washington. Aden wasn't present for Drayke's birth as he was at work, but he came home and was surprised to see Tanya in the bedroom holding a baby boy. Aden immediatly bonded with his newborn son. Aden became a father once again years later when he and Tanya had a baby girl named Liza. Soon after Liza's birth, Aden and Tanya realise they want a third child, but due to rapidly approching elderhood, Tanya worries about getting pregnant. They wish for a child at the wishing well, and are granted with their son Floyd.
