Alvin married a young age, something he always regretted. When he grew up and got a job, he never maintained the old bond he had with his wife. He secretly longed to be with a different woman, who it was didn't matter, just someone different.
Alvin had a weird way of earning a living: he provided his voice to cartoons, the most famous was his voice acting for the character Rico on Plumbbobs & Llamas. Alvin always wanted to act, but never wanted the fame that came with being an actor, so he took the easy way out.
Alvin is a child living with his parents and older sister, Cillia, on a farm on the outskirts of Riverview. His parents are not getting along to well, so he spends most of his time with his friend Louise Piscouli. He angers his mother because he prefers to watch television instead of helping her out in the garden.
Alvin and his family have moved to Pleasantview, so his wife could take a job at Pleasantview High School. His relationship with his children, and especially Louise, has become strained over the years.
He begins an affair with Jennifer Lothario shorty after moving to Pleasantview. He manages to avoid his wife and children when he's arriving home, trying not to arouse suspicion. One night, he brings Jennifer home from work. They start to kiss, only to notice Henrietta is staring at them and Louise is quickly approaching them. Alvin is pushed out the way while Louise and Jennifer begin to fight. Jennifer, of course, wins the fight, and Alvin is kicked out the house. Shortly after, Louise files for divorce.
Right after his divorce, Alvin transitions to an elder. He proposes to Jennifer, and the marry. The ceremony, of course, is not attended by his children. A few days after his marriage, Alvin dies.
