Angela Pleasant is one of the main characters in the story Sun sets in the Valley.

Angela has a twin sister Lilith. As they grew up, they appeared to be complete opposites. Lilith grew up being the shy and gothic girl, while Angela grew up being the outgoing and sociable one. As she entered middle school, Angela became a honor student. She then subscribed to a program where excellent students helped the ones who encountered some problems at school. Angela became the mentor of Dustin Broke. Through the program, they became friends, and Angela realized that even though Dustin was far from being as brilliant as her, he was the nicest boy she had ever talked to. This is the story of how Dustin and Angela started dating. It would seem like it's a fairytale. Truth is, it's not. In 11th grade, Angela had to submit a work with a group. She decided that Dustin could join. Therefore, she went to his house, but nobody came to open the door. She looked through the window and saw Dustin making out with Meadow Thayer, Angela's best friend.

When the story begins, Angela is crying in the bathtub downstairs, listening to her parents' argument. Lilith then joins her, until their mother kicks their father out of the house.
