Biography
With her star on the rise, city life seemed perfect for someone like Aquaria... and she knew it. But after her transition, all the surgeries and procedures, her parents could barely recognize her. Making a name for herself by frequenting the underground club scene, she found her tribe; she left her family, and thus San Myshuno, not because they didn't approve, but simply because they didn't understand. A new town is her chance at a fresh start, as prescribed by Dr. Nguyen. As long as her boring new roommate doesn't mess it up, of course.

Aquaria Janiak is a Sim living in the newly renovated town of Newcrest. She resides in the Llama Lagoon neighborhood, having recently moved into Vainglorious Villa, one of its five residential lots, with her roommate Clarissa Phillips. At the start of the game, Aquaria is twenty-two days away from becoming an Adult.

Both originally from San Myshuno, Aquaria and her roommate have few relationships when first played. Aquaria is transgender, having transitioned from male to female as a teenager; though this is well-known and celebrated in the Fashion industry, where she currently serves as a Fashion Figure in the Style Influencer track, few in Newcrest are aware of this fact. Having achieved iconic status as a fashion connoisseur, hostess, and socialite, her skillset reflects her aptitude for Dancing, DJ'ing, and Photography. A three-star celebrity, Aquaria's preset fame quirks are "Juice Enthusiast" and "Phone Fanatic."

Aquaria carries university homework and a camera in her inventory. She is a part-time student at Foxbury Institute, where she is enrolled in an Art History program.
