Arthur Goth is the son of Belinda and Jared Goth. Brother of Athena Goth. Nephew of Beatrice and Bianca Crumplebottom. Father of Lyra Goth. Uncle of Gunther Goth II.

History

Baby

Arthur was doted on by both his mother and father. Sometimes he was cared for by the family servant, Bonehilda. Not much out of the ordinary happened, at least that he was aware of. He was aware of nothing other than his teddy bear, and the care his parents gave him.

Toddler

Arthur became quite close to his father. Jared read a lot of books to him, that really interested him. It may have even encouraged him to want to read more. He was taught all of his toddler skills by his mother and father. He felt out of place in the colourful bright nursery. Arthur wanted to hide away in gloom. At least, when he was not listening to his father read.

Child

At his birthday party, he became a brother. Arthur liked having a sister, because it meant that his parents would leave him to his own devices. The night of his first day as a child, he heard a strange sound in the garden. An alien had visited their home. He ran outside, to greet the alien man. From that moment on, Arthur became obsessed with space. He went straight to the garage, and got out the telescope, to allow him to explore the stars.

Arthur spent each night searching the stars. He found and named many stars. The alien came back, and formed a friendship with Arthur. He looked up to this man from the stars, like anyone would a great hero.

Teen

Arthur wanted to prepare for his future career, by developing his skills in maintenance work. There was not a single object around the house, that he had not upgraded and made better. He did spend more time with his sister, building up a friendship that they were formerly unable to create.

During his free time, he searched all over Moonlight Falls, collecting gem stones and the occasional space rock. His collection and interest in gems grew. His parents had to install a gem cutting machine in one of the empty rooms. Before long, he had more gems than he knew what to do with. His popularity in school grew, among the girls. Not that he was interested in any of them. His dream girl was in the stars, and was not going to settle for less.

Young Adult

He knew that the only career suitable for him, was the military. Hopefully, one day he would get to be an astronaut. He got a job, and begun working his way up the ladder. His interest in the stars had to take a step back, while he prepared himself for the athletic requirements for the job. Both Belinda and Jared were on his case to settle down, so they could hear the pitter-patter of tiny Goth feet around the old house once more. The only woman he knew, was his boss Annalove Ivy. They had an affair, that ended her marriage. She announced she was pregnant, but did not want to keep the baby. Arthur suggested that she moved in for a while, at least until the baby was born. She proved not to be a good fit for the family at all. Lyra was born. Shortly after, Annalove left. 

Arthur loved his daughter, and doted on her. He gave her everything she could ever want and need. But his obsession with aliens had gotten to it absolute worst. Aliens were coming to the lot, to check the collection of space rocks he had left the in the garden. He befriended each one of them. This proved to be a big mistake. With good intentions, he introduced Cexavu to his sister. But when Cexavu got Athena pregnant and left, he realised that not all aliens are good. He sold all of his space rocks, and left them to be someone else's problem.

When Gunther was born, Athena handed the baby over to him, and told him that he finally had the alien he always wanted, and that she would not speak to him, until he had given up on his dream of outer space. Arthur felt horrible, at what his obsession had done to his sister. Gunther was a nice little baby, who Arthur did not blame at all. It was Cexavu's fault, not the innocent baby. He decided that he would let go of his dream, for the good of his family. Arthur would not give up on his dream job, but he just would not talk about it outside of work. He started to make friends with some of the other sims at work, to have someone who understood to talk to.

• Arthur was supposed to be abducted by aliens, and have an alien baby, but everyone but him was getting abducted. The only aliens that were visiting the lot were all men. I had to give up, and make his child human instead.
