Atheia Catarina "Thea" Vargheim is one of the two youngest children of Anton Vargheim IV and Deanna Vargheim. She is a twin of Chloe Vargheim, though she was born several minutes earlier. As such, Atheia is, according to the line of succession, older than Chloe. She is fourth in line to the leadership of the Vargheim clan, though this will change to fifth if her eldest brother Ryan has a child once he is old enough.
Atheia was born to Anton Vargheim IV and his Human wife Deanna Vargheim. Born a human, she accidentally ingested mermaid kelp as a toddler, becoming a mermaid. Her nickname, "Thea", was first used to refer to her by Bryan Vargheim when he accidentally mispronounced her name.
