The Baker Family was started by Matt Baker, one of the Original 8. It consists of his oldest son Connor Baker, his youngest son Zack Baker, Connor's twin sons Anthony and Lawrence Baker, Lawrence's spouse Brad Baker from the Harper family, their oldest twin sons Ivan and Timmy, their middle son Derek, their youngest twin sons Gary and Ruben, their youngest son Leland Baker. Connor was sired by Kyle Potter. Zack was sired by Sean Carpenter. Anthony and Lawrence were sired by Eric Gardener. While Connor, Zack, and Anthony have moved out of the Baker home, they have not left the family to join another which is why their information is still on this page.
After Matt found himself in The Genesis Project, he quickly developed his cooking skills while he was pregnant with Connor. He tried to tend to his home business of selling food to his neighbors, continue to develop his cooking skills, and care for his little son Connor after he was born. Nick was born to Chris the day after Connor, which was fine with Matt since he wouldn't have to care for both boys. While Connor was a toddler, Matt gave birth to his youngest son, Zack. By this time, he had mastered his cooking skills and was able to manage the home business somewhat, so it was a little easier to care for two little ones. Once Connor became a child, Matt could focus on growing his home business some more. By the time Connor was a teen and Zack was a child, Matt was able to focus solely on the orders to provide for everyone in the neighborhood while Connor tended to the business and Zack played like the free child that he was. When Connor became a young adult and Zack a teen, Matt decided to buy one of the lots that Tyler had to expand his cooking business. After Matt became an elder and Zack became a young adult, the business started really taking shape.
Shortly after Connor became an adult, he gave birth to twins, Anthony and Lawrence Baker. When Zack became an adult as well, he gave birth to Ace. Matt then passed away not long after leaving Connor to take over the household and businesses. After Connor became an elder, Anthony moved to the apartments and Ace left to create his own family. At this time Brad also joined the family to be with Lawrence and continue the Baker family with him. As Lawrence and Brad started having several children making for a crowded home, Connor turned over the family responsibilities to Lawrence and moved out with Zack into the same apartment complex as Anthony.
