Biography
"Bessie is much more contect with her thespian career than her sister Lilian, but is she telling the truth when she claims she's not jealous at her sister's more dramatic, serious roles?"
Bessie Clavell is an elderly actress living in Sunset Valley. She has always been very close to her more serious sister, Lilian, and both are spinsters. Bessie, the more light-hearted sister, is the lifetime partner of Jedidiah Cash. She is the daughter, grand-daughter and sister of Presidents.
Bessie Clavell was the second child of Martin Clavell and Janae Wrotek. Her father and both his parents, Xander Clavell and Tamara Donner, all served as President. Lilian therefore grew up in a comfortable home with many dignified guests. She was very close to her grandmother Tamara, but distant from her other grandmother, Lillian Wrotek. Bessie also grew up with her aunt Donna, her uncle Jasen and their son Jack. She has an older sister Lilian.
Bessie was a child when her parents divorced twice, but didn't mind as she was much closer to her father anyway. Janae moved out of the family home and lived alone until her death. Martin remarried to Carly Guy, and had two further children, Martin and Guy.
Bessie, like her sister Lilian, was inspired to become an actress after the pair watched their grandmother Tamara perform in a play. Bessie, although equal to her sister in pay and title, has usually performed less dramatic roles. She prefers light-hearted or comedic roles, for example the crazy scientist.
Bessie sometimes regretted not having a child, but was content with her lifelong partner Jedidiah.
Bessie and Lilian retired and moved to Appaloosa Plains with Jedidiah Cash and Marshall Padilla, and the couples were soon married. They travelled to France and at 4:54pm on the day they returned, Bessie died while talking to a friend on the phone. She was 82, and the next day she was laid to rest at Newton Cemetery.
