Betty Bettyson was born during the time of The Sims 2. Her father was a late-middle aged ex-supervillain named Kennith Kennithson, and her mother was the wealthy Bella Goth, who was married to both Betty's father, and Mortimer Goth at the same time. When she was born, Betty was named "Kml,sxcdzkldxcsk,ldcxs,fcd" by her father, and nicknamed "Baby Kml" (pronounced Kih-Mul). Immediately after, he left, and Betty's mother put her up for adoption.
Shortly after, "Baby Kml" was adopted by an elderly couple named Mr and Mrs Bettyson, who renamed her Betty. Betty did well in school, inheriting the Genius trait from her father.
By the time of The Sims 4, Betty is a young adult, who has just moved out. She spent a few days roaming around Willow Creek, until she discovered the secret world of Sylvan Glade hidden in a tree in her garden. The next day, she permanently moved into Sylvan Glade, and was never seen again.
