Buttercup Morrison is the mother of Sally and Georgia Morrison and the daughter of Lola and Archie Morrison. She has also had many lovers and had twin daughters by one called Chester.
In her early life, Buttercup lived happily with her parents in a modest sized house in Riverblossom Hills. Her mother was a store clerk but she painted in her spare time and her father was a Firefighter. Her mother enjoyed painting her dad a lot which usually involved them posing a lot but they didn't mind. Her dad and mum said she was psychic as her dreams sometimes came true (more often than not). Her mother encouraged her to paint but Buttercup didn't want to as her creations always went wrong and she didn't want to paint unless it was all perfect. Sadly one day, Buttercup dreamt her father had died in a fire while working. She came into her parent's bed, in tears but they told her it was probably wrong. Buttercup was almost convinced as nothing happened for weeks but one day they got a call. Archie had died in a fire just like Buttercup had seen. Buttercup and Lola were distraught and moved away to a town called Lavisha to start a new life. Buttercup didn't make many friends but with help from her mother became better at painting until her paintings were so lifelike that they could be photos. She carried on nurturing her gift and was foreseeing lots of things.
As an adult, Buttercup never went to college as she just didn't want to. One night Buttercup dreamt her mother was sick and a week later, Lola caught Pneumonia. Buttercup was sad but even more so when her mother died a week later. She got a small inheritance but not much. She stopped painting for several years untils she met Chester... Chester loved her art and told her she had a gift. they were both introverts so together they boosted each other's confidence and slowly fell in love. However, Buttercup found out she was pregnant and blamed it on Chester. She kicked him out of her house and after giving birth to twins, sent them to live with him. She continued painting and had many lovers after that although she never settled down and had no regrets about staying single. She aged up feeling happy.
As an elder, Buttercup's two best friends, Caryl and Sharron passed away as they were both a bit older than her and had become elders before her. Buttercup kept painting but she didn't feel very enthusiastic about it anymore. She befriended Maureen, her ex-lover's widow and they became good friends. They helped each other out and Buttercup was happy about having friends.
