Description
True love is a wonderous thing, something which Juliette and Hermia have quickly learned through dating the golden child of the Monty Clan, and the cute 'Faire' boy across the way. Will Consort allow his granddaughters to pursue their relationships? And will Tybalt's envy cause him to go into a dark place?
Raising 3 daughters and one son isn’t exactly what one would call an ‘easy’ task. But, Goneril and Albany are ready to take it on together, and both have stable jobs to bring in the income. Goneril has convinced her eldest, Miranda, to take up a part-time job, but is her love for Mercutio distracting her from it? And what are the romours that Hal and Desdmona may be getting close to the Summerdream 'farie' Belinda and Monty Clan boy Bendict?
Regan and Cornwall are drifting further apart recently, something which hasn't escaped Kent's notice. But, now that Regen is pregant, will Cornwall stay for the new baby? Or will he just love and leave his 'wife'? And will Regen allow Kent to persue his lover, Bianca?
The Capp family, as in canon, is one of the main families in my version of Veronaville. The game itself has barely begun, and yet, drama is springing left and right. Tensions are rising between the 3rd and 4th generation and their rivarly, but the 5th generation is about ready to give this up and form new friendships and romances.
It all started with Contessa Capp on the third geneation of the Capp family. She had fallen in love with the heir to the Monty Clan, Patrizio Monty. However, after a big fight, she turned her attention to his friend, Consort Thebe, and they started a romance all their own. Patrizo caught Contessa cheating and ended the romance with her, and the partnership he had with Consort. The Fued carried out in the fourth generation with a lot of force. Two deaths have happened on the Capp's side when a fire broke out in the Capp's old house. Consort and Contessa had to take in their grandson, Tybalt, and granddaughters, Juliette and Hermia, in to raise them as their own after Cordelia and Caliban died. The Capps aren't sure how it started, but Consort, Contessa, Tybalt, Goneril, Regan and the latter two's spouces belived it to be the Montys. Kent and the rest of the new generation disagree and think that something else caused the fire.
Juliette is a firm believer of true love, and just knows that Romeo is the one for her. Her mother, Cordelia was always saying to her 'when I lay my eyes on your father, I knew we would have a happy family together.' Her sister, Hermia, quickly caught onto the pholosiphy too, and went steady with her crush, Puck Summerdream. While Miranda is a bit rebillous sometimes and doesn't like commitment, she genuniely has feelings for Mercutio and wouldn't wish to break his heart.
Kent Capp, the only one of Contessa's children not in line for the head of the Clan, is currently engaged to Bianca Monty. He had been slipping off behind his sister's back thanks to a bit of persuadsion from his eldest neices.
Desdemona, the older of the two kids at Goneril's house, is becoming childhood sweethearts with the boy from the Monty Clan, Benidict, while the younger one, Hal, is getting close with Puck's younger sister, Belinda.
Due to the fact that Goneril & Albany and Regan & Cornwall aren't even in love when the game starts, seems to imply to me that arranged marriges are fairly common in this town. Contessa went out of her way to find some men to betrothe to her three daughters. The eldest, Goneril, was getting too amtious for her mother's taste and Contessa wanted her to settle down and have a family. So, she found Albany for her to marry. (She did not account for her to have so many children however). As for Regan, Contessa felt her daughter needed a bit of finanical help, so she got Cornwall for her to marry. Cordelia however, found a man of her dreams all by herself in Caliban. He would always work overtime when his wife was on maturnailty leave, and she adored her children very much. Contessa was so pleased with her little 'princess' that of coruse she'd let them marry.
It's not Cordelia who's the actual heiress to her mother's fortune and business, but Goneril. However, Contessa had a much stronger relationship with her youngest daughter, causing resentment from her elder two. They moved out when they reached adulthood and married their respective betroths just so they could stay away from their mother. Kent, frankly, didn't really care, as he was never going to inherit anything, but followed after Regan as he thought Cornwall could be trouble. After looking through some family records sometime after Contessa had died and discovering what her grandma had done, Juliette decides to return the position to her aunt Goneril. Although she has good intentions, weather she did the right thing or mess things up even more is left to be debated.
