Charles Liviane is the husband of Mercedes Liviane and the father of Billy Liviane. Him and his wife were locked up and observed for years until they were freed by a guilt ridden Gina. Thanks to compensation they bought the huge Experiment Home.
Before he was captured, Charles was a charismatic cassanova criminal who was on the run from several police in multiple countries. Due to all the items he stole, Charles always had enough money for small apartments until one day, he left his money in a secret place but when he came his current partner in crime had stolen the money and made a run for it. Charles saw an advert in the papers saying 'Room available' so he went and was given the room at the Experiment home. He joked that he could get used to it and the couple who was giving it to him said Don't. In the morning he woke up and found he'd been moved to a place with no doors. There he met Mercedes, another tenant and they became friends and later fell in love. One day a new room was built and everyday there was a new object. In this lonely suite, the room became their one fun thing to do. In between the Sims 1 and 2, Charles and Mercedes were freed by a guilt ridden Gina. They made a run for it and found the police. They told them everything and Gina and Jacob were arrested but later freed on bail by their twins. Mercedes and Charles bought the Experiment Family's former home and had a son, Billy Liviane and life was great although they were a bit sad when Gina died as she'd freed them but they were still very angry.
