Crystal Curious (née Vu) was the wife of Lazlo Curious and mother of Lucifer Curious. Her life with the Curious family was quite short as she died when Lucifer was just a toddler.

Biography

Before joining the family

Not much is known about Crystal before meeting the family. According to her memories she went to college, but did not graduate or drop out. It is unclear what she majored in, but it most likely was history seeing she had a want of becoming a General one day. A reason why she might have not finished her major was because she already got a job offer from the military, and didn't see the need to continue her study. Although she met both Vidcund and Lazlo at the same time, it is unknown how they met. It was quite obvious that Lazlo was smitten with her, and she quite enjoyed the attention. She learned that behind the really (but no, REALLY) dorky guy, there was a sweet and gentle man, who was absolutely crazy about her. Lazlo was one of the few men that completely supported her military career, which was rare to find, and even applauded her for being extremely brave. It didn't take long before she fell for him as well.

Adulthood

Crystal joined the Curious household when Lazlo and herself got engaged. Here she met Pascal Curious, who wasn't too happy with a girl ruining the brotherly balance of the household, and got reintroduced to Vidcund, who felt indifferent about the situation and rather just focused on important stuff like science. Although Crystal was aware of the two extraterrestials in the house, she never expressed towards anyone how she felt about them. Lazlo and herself got married, and shared their first WooHoo together (or was it the other way around..? Oh gosh who truly remembers!). It was revealed not much later that she was pregnant with their first child.

In the first stage of her pregnancy, Crystal started to doubt her life choices and marriage, and suddenly everything felt like a trap. On a whim she went on a date with Neil Chalmers and was caught by Pascal out of all Sims, which worsened their already tough relationship. Crystal begged him not to tell Lazlo, and swore that the pregnancy hormones just spooked her. Pascal agreed and Crystal broke things off with Neil.

Crystal decided to focus on her career and worked herself up the ladder, earning herself several promotions. Right before reaching the top of her career she gave birth to her son Lucifer Curious. She then slowed herself down and enjoyed the time with her newborn son, as well with her husband. She wrote her own memoir, talking about her life and the struggles of being a (powerful) woman in the military. When Lucifer turned into a toddler, she went back to work and reached the top of her career, fulfilling her Lifetime want.

Now on top of her career, she gained some more free time and got the opportunity to teach her son Lucifer two of the toddler skills; talking and potty training. But with her promotion also came more dangerous missions. Crystal died on her latest and biggest mission, sacrificing herself to let her team escape.

• I knew I didn't want Crystal and Lazlo to grow old together, but I also didn't want to divorce them, as I do think the two were truly in love. That's why an early (and honorable) death for Crystal was my solution.
