Dan Newbie is a Sim in SimVille. He is the husband of Betty Newbie and the father of Justin and Evan Newbie.

Dan is considered by many to be a "successful" Sim, having reached the top of the athletic career and having plenty of money at his disposal. He had wanted to be an athlete since he was a child, and while he's not the best athlete in SimNation, he's good enough to be a household name. Dan doesn't brag about his successes, but deep down inside he's quite proud of himself.

Dan is a complete slob, clocking in a grand total of zero neat points, and mostly relies on the Servos in his household to clean up after him. Dan is very outgoing and spends a lot of time chatting with his friends rather than tending to the house. As a result, some Sims may consider Dan to be a failure at being an adult.

Dan is extremely active, and even though he's retired from playing, he still exercises vigorously to stay in shape. He personally dislikes the notion of the rich being fat and overweight.
