Derek Goodwin is a single Sim living alone. His family is currently unknown.

Background[edit | edit source]

Derek's past is mysterious. He has no known parents, siblings, or any other family members to speak about. According to his biography, Derek wishes to become famous as well as have family. This is despite the fact that he wants to lead his own club. Although, it's also stated that Derek is struggling to do either one because he is stuck working as a disc jockey for low-level gigs.

The Sims 4: Get to Work[edit | edit source]

One evening, Derek heads to the Cactus Juice Bar in Oasis Springs to have a few drinks. While he is there having some drinks, he meets Meredith Moore. Meredith offers to buy Derek a drink, which he accepts. Over the course of the night, Derek flirts with Meredith and gets to know her a bit. However, Derek realizes he needs to leave soon. Before he does, Meredith gives her number to him. Derek lovingly accepts her number and leaves the bar.

That next afternoon, Derek decides to call Meredith, much to her surprise. He asks her if she wants to meet at another bar for some drinks. Meredith accepts and he meets her at a different bar from the Cactus Juice Bar. As they drink, Derek converses with Meredith, getting to know her. Eventually, Derek has to leave again. Once again before he does, Meredith invites him to an upcoming Winterfest party. Derek tells her that he will be there.

He does attend Meredith's Winterfest party when Winterfest Day comes. He is welcomed by Meredith and he stays until the end of the party.
