Early Life[edit | edit source]

Donna Clavell was born in the Sacred Spleen hospital in Sunset Valley. Her parents were Xander Clavell and Tamara Donner. Donna was named in honour of her mother's maiden name. Donna had a younger brother, Martin Clavell, who became President and a noted womaniser. Donna was largely cared for by her grandfather Buster Clavell.

Both of Donna's parents were President (at different times), so the family home was always full with important and dignified guests. Donna enjoyed the atmosphere but sometimes just liked to be in her room and read or paint.

Marriage[edit | edit source]

Donna was in High School when she met fellow student Jasen Strauss, who had recently moved to Sunset Valley with his sister Maggie and parents, Gonzalo and Rosanna. Donna was eight years older than Jasen and waited patiently for him to finish school so they could get married. The couple had one son, Jack Strauss, who became a film producer and lived in Bridgeport.

Career[edit | edit source]

Donna continued with her cooking career, and became a celebrity chef. She published cookbooks and after they were recepted very highly, she felt confident enough to begin writing children's books. She used her skills as an artist and author together. Feeling she wasn't meant to be a children's writer, however, Donna began writing mystery novels. She was working on one when she became very ill.

Illness[edit | edit source]

One day Donna woke up but for some reason she was an elder. The night before she had been a couple of days away from adult. This was very shocking but there was nothing that could be done. Donna had to accept that she would lose 20 years of life, and retired with a big party for her family.

Suddenly Donna forgot about the book she was writing, and it seemed she even forgot who she was. She tried to restart her life, but felt more comfortable writing than talking to family or friends, who she considered strangers.

Death[edit | edit source]

Donna was a great help at her brother's wedding, but was obviously very ill. She passed away the following year, aged 68.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Donna really did fall 'ill' - there was a glitch or something and she just suddenly became an elder.
  • She did lose some information from before. For example, she couldn't continue with the book she was half-way through. She had to start again.
  • She did seem to forget who she was - when she clicked on her bed it said, "sleep in Donna's bed" so it didn't appear that she knew she was Donna.
