When Drayke's mother Tanya went into labour, she was in the middle of her shift at work. Tanya managed to go through an entire four hour shift while in intense labour pains, but she made it and gave birth to Drayke soon after the shift. Drayke's father Aden wasn't present for the birth as he was working, and Drayke's grandmother Rhea came along but bailed before he was born. After Drayke aged into a child, Tanya threw a big party so that he could meet all of his relatives. When Drayke aged up into a teen, he decided he wanted to find love, and met Catherine Duggan. Drayke also became a big brother when his sister Liza was born. Drayke one day, began to stop loving Catherine, and realised that he is gay. He broke up with Catherine, who understood his sexuality and took the break up well. Drayke was confused when his parents arrived with a child, and revealed that they wished for a third child. Drayke later warmed up to his younger brother. Upon becoming a young adult, his parents and siblings move out, and fellow gay man Reid Regan moved in to be Drayke's housemate. Drayke and Reid found themselves attracted to each other, and began dating soon after.
