Elita Ionello appears in The Sims 3 in the town of Bridgeport, living with her husband and son. She is very close with the both of them, as well as her other son, Jonathan. Although not owning a pet of her own, she is friends with quite a few of the stray dogs around town, and has considered adopting one of them on several occasions.
Although a quiet individual, Elita has quite a few friends around the city. She is friends with the Cooks, and best friends with Violet Atkins. She is, however, disliked by Violet's twin sister Hyacinth Atkins. The hate originates from a verbal argument that arose during one of Violet's many day parties.
Elita is deceased by the time the storyline has caught up with The Sims 2. She, like her husband, has died of old age and is buried around Pleasantview. She is able to resurrected.
Unlike many Ionello descendants, not much about Elita's childhood is revealed over the course of the series of games.
