Biography
Though he isn't the firstborn of his family, he is their first son. Despite being a seemingly inconsequential fact of his existence, it carried a great deal of significance for his traditional parents, especially his father. Overwhelmed by the responsibility of knowing it would one day fall on him to continue his family name, he found his escape in the outdoors, enamored by the simplicity and liberation that a life in nature provides. At home, everything is complex, but it's different in the wild. And ultimately, if there's one thing he and his father have in common, it's the desire for a life free of complexity.

Ethan Nguyen is a Sim living in the newly renovated town of Newcrest. He resides at Rapturous Roost in the Llama Lagoon neighborhood along with his parents, Thai and Hoa Nguyen, his triplet siblings Ua and Isa, and his younger brother Felix. At the beginning of the game, Ethan is thirteen days away from becoming a Young Adult.

Despite being the middle triplet, as the family's first son he bears the brunt of his parents' expectations but is also the most frequent recipient of his father's attention and affection. However, being an outdoorsy Sim, Ethan much prefers the simple and carefree qualities of nature, and possesses an array of skills befitting such a disposition which includes Fitness, Fishing, Gardening, and Selvadoradian Culture, in addition to an admirable six points in Piano. A B-student in high school, Ethan holds a part-time job as a Landscaper. When first played, he has completed the first stage of his Angling Ace Aspiration.

In addition to his high school homework, Ethan carries several assorted fruits and vegetables in his inventory, as well as a treasure map and a copy of Archaeology Vol. 1: Tiny Brushes and You by Brandon Rush.
