Ezekiel Gretchyn, born 4 November, 1978, is an adult werewolf living in Moonlight Falls. Ezekiel was created and submitted by Pidgeoraptor7 through the Time Paradox event. Ezekiel has lived in the small suburban town since his birth, and he is certain that this would be a major asset to the Ecclesiarchy, headed by the Genie Kallisto, as they could use the space for a new Chapter, and are at a high risk due to their small population and the high concentration of Supernaturals in the area. Therefore, Ezekiel has made it his priority to prevent the Ecclesiarchy from taking over Moonlight Falls, and by becoming the Leader of the Free World he not only completed his Lifetime Wish, but also gained substantial influence over the residents.

Ezekiel has mastered three skills, being Charisma, Logic, and Handiness. He also has three points in Guitar, seven in Writing, eight in Athletic, and one in Painting and Fishing. Though not a direct supporter of WooHoo, as he has no children nor spouse, and also lacks the Flirty trait, Ezekiel believes that Kallisto has done wrong in limiting the rights of her disciples and basically annihilating their free will. Therefore, Ezekiel takes a different front by allowing the residents to make their own choices, though he makes WooHoo his main political standpoint. He has further improved his skills, mastering Athletics and gaining 9 points in Martial Arts as to follow his own legislation and to follow the principle of noblesse oblige.

As a resident of Moonlight Falls, he will be a major character in the upcoming subset storyline Dusk of Opposition.

Readying the Villagers[edit | edit source]

Ezekiel, after being deemed Leader of the Free World, mustered the villagers into action. He ordered large shipments of Martial Arts equipment and personal trainers for the villagers, and made a law requiring each resident to practice either Martial Arts or Athletic (skill) for at least 2 sim hours each day. Initially disagreed with, it was eventually ratified as the villagers knew they would need it if they wanted to defend themselves.

It was really quite easy for Ezekiel to convince Moonlight Falls that Kallisto's presence was unacceptable, as the majority of those living there did not want to sacrifice WooHoo. In a month, even the most overweight villagers had become trim and muscular fighters.

After learning that Moonlight Falls would be the next target for the Ecclesiarchy, the Council of Bridgeport sent a substantial amount of funds to prove that they would eagerly ally with the Moonlight Falls residents in the hopes of bringing Kallisto down. Being the highest-standing political officer in Moonlight Falls, Ezekiel was the first to hear this message, and eagerly accepted the alliance.

Meanwhile, some Sims on the inside decided to turn against Ezekiel and the other residents. In secret, citizens such as Ayden Van Gould, Alice Fitzgerald, and David Pok met and plotted to destroy Moonlight Falls from the inside out, and planned on how to overthrow Ezekiel. Although Kallisto was initially thought to be the one behind this, but given Kallisto's disdain for the criminal network, the claim that Kallisto had bribed people was rendered false. Some suspects that Isis was behind this, given Isis was of the shady background, but no evidences could be found to implicate Isis. Although Kallisto was not found to support them directly, Ayden was found to have some ties with the Ecclesiarchy, which strengthened Ezekiel's position.

Just in time, Ezekiel caught wind of the secret planned mutiny, and surprised the villagers by announcing that they would ally with the Ecclesiarchy in exchange for sparing the villagers lives. The citizens, shocked by Ezekiel's betrayal, threatened to kick him out of office. But after speaking with his most trusted advisors and officials, Ezekiel was able to secretly spread the word that he planned on using the traitor's strategy against them: he would destroy the Papal State from the inside out. He would act as an inside man, spying on the Ecclesiarchy and planning their every move. He then would convey the plans to the Council of Bridgeport, who would use this accordingly to devise a strategy to defeat Kallisto and her goons once and for all.

Not being a stupid man, Ezekiel knew that Kallisto had the brains to know that this was just an act, and that he would not be able to keep this up forever. Ezekiel therefore seceded from the Ecclesiarchy, revoking the truce they had and putting the villagers yet again at risk of being attacked by Kallisto.

Ecclesiarchy Attacks[edit | edit source]

One week after revoking the truce, meteorites rained down upon the town, and though no fatalities occurred due to Ezekiel's construction of underground bunkers, major property damage lead to some trouble in Moonlight Falls. Eventually having no choice, Ezekiel finally agreed to use the supplier of the Council of Bridgeport, Isis Stone, to use black market resources to rebuild.

Through the use of stronger, more durable materials, Ezekiel was able to protect the village from another rain of meteors the next month. Again, no fatalities occurred due to Ezekiel's extreme measures of preservation and preparation. Though damage still occurred, it was not to the extent of the previous attack.

Opposition of the Witch Cult[edit | edit source]

It is true that almost nobody wanted to relinquish WooHoo, which was indeed the key motivating factor that Ezekiel used to rally up Moonlight Falls' citizens against the Papal State. However, there were couple of witch cults in Moonlight Falls that were impressed by the magical powers that the Ecclesiarchy wielded as well as its rich alchemical markets. The most pro-Papal of the witch cults were the Silver Lilies, which was allied with other witch cults such as the Lizardworts, latter the cult that Marisa Rainymist is affiliated with.

Ezekiel was confident that the WooHoo will stand as the unifying factor, and it was true for non-witches and witches who weren't really into power. However, Moonlight Falls was the second mecca of alchemical wares, and this meant that trade with Hekatonschoinos was literally impossible to avoid without shutting down the entire alchemy market. Through the market flowed Ecclesiarchal Witch potions that turned people into witches, and many of those who used the Papal potions developed anti-WooHoo tendencies that would unravel Ezekiel's strategy. By the time Ezekiel made a pact with Isis, 30% of Moonlight Falls' population were witches, although the number of those turned by Papal potions is unknown. The Silver Lilies, led by Belinda Limpwort, had planned a potion attack using the Papal potions they have obtained.
