Ezra met Danielle after she went to greet him into the neighborhood. They fell in love instantly, and got engaged soon after. Danielle bought a store, and Ezra got a job as a detective to make money, even though Danielle was incredibly wealthy. Ezra made a good relationship with Danielle's son, and the pair married. Danielle became pregnant and had a daughter, naming her Lisa. When Ezra married Danielle, he took her last name. Danielle later had another daughter, named Kim. Ezra solved his first case as a detective on the same day as his second daughter's birth, marking two happy things happening. Ezra and Danielle don't plan for more children. Eventually him and Danielle went into old age and moved out, leaving the home to Lisa as Jedd had died in a fire. Ezra became a grandfather to Chance (Lisa's son) shortly before he died with Danielle.
