Biography
Goopy is a magnificent architect with few problems. However, will the arrival of his parents stir up drama, and/or embarassment?
Goopy C. GilsCarbo is a very famous Ex-Townie and the main character in my stories. He lives in a medium sized house across the street from 113 Wright Way. He is currently 24 days from becoming an Elder and works as a City Planner . He is best friends with Malcolm Landgraab IV and has a silver Talent badge in Pottery, another silver badge in Toy Making and a gold badge in Sewing. When first played as, Goopy had the Romance aspiration and fewer skills. He shares his residence with his live-in girlfriend Alice Waters. His girlfriend Alice moved in recently and received a home-made tea-set as a move-in gift. I've also created Goopy's parents, Eduardo and Carlotta and moved them in to Pleasantview. He is also best friends with Dante Fender, the Slob. Currently, Goopy is quite rich and is likely going to be well-off for quite a long time.
The "C." in his name stands for "Carbonara". His full name is Goopy Carbonara GilsCarbo.
Due to a switch in save files, Goopy now works as an Architect.
His girlfriend Alice is based on the Monte Vista character Alice GilsCarbo whom I interpreted as Goopy's ex-wife. However, while I plan on getting them married and have a child named Celeste like the Monte Vista Alice, I don't intend to have them divorce like in The Sims 3.
I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that Goopy and Alice's Chemistry was excellent. In fact, I didn't initiate the first romantic interactions at all.
When I looked at Goopy's Inventory, I was satisfied to find treasures such as a hot tub, a large, expensive television set, an aquarium and some flowers, among other things.
Goopy is the man who resurrected Jon Smith Tricou. I brought him back by creating a friendship between the two with SimPE in order to bring him, and ultimately the rest of the family back from the dead.
I've taken some great photos for the family which I may upload in the near future.
Goopy's actual age is about 18 days from becoming an Elder, I just edited his age in SimPE.
In the Swedish translation of the game, Goopy's name was changed to the much more boring "Daniel Gille". While I didn't want to change his first name, I did restore his last name, making his in-game name Daniel GilsCarbo.
