Meet the Hillmans! Through thick and thin, they will always have each other's backs... and yours!
Bethany's the most childish Hillman sister. Her husband Colby is uptight, Patrice is curious, twins Liana and Huey are computer geniuses, and young BJ even knows more than the average toddler does. This may be the better off of the Hillman branch!
Elizabeth seems to be the most level headed of the Hillman sisters, but she has been called insane on a few different counts. Maybe that's why her parents still live with her, her husband Dean, and daughter Missy.
The Hillman family is the largest family is Westerberg. It is also one of the matrilineal families in town. They are one of the predominant families[1] around alongside the Ontiveros-Santos family, Sydney Greene, and the Billingsleys.
A few years ago, Farrah came to town (having run away from her parents, who don't appear in her tree) with hopes of being a free spirit and a vet - that is, until she got involved with Seth (birth name not stated) and was somehow convinced to settle down by him. Together they had three daughters: Elizabeth, who is dignified but insane; Maurecia, a wanna-be photographer that flies off the handle; and Bethany, the over-emotional artist who is quite immature at times.
As the family progressed, the girls would ask for a multitude of pets, many of which died or ran away; they do not know the whereabouts of their dog Daveed or cat Sadie. Eventually, by the time they became teens, they picked out a dog, a cat, and two horses, and when they became young adults themselves, they argued over who would get what pets.
Bethany's daughter, Patrice, convinced her mom to let them take their cat and dog, Precious and Marty, for herself and her younger siblings, only Huey and Liana at the time. The horses, Fortune and Louis, were pushed onto Maurecia, which made her only more sour. Elizabeth didn't get to keep any of the pets, for she was still living with her parents, who were helping her raise her own toddler, Missy. The pets all matured by the time BJ was born and Liana, Huey, and Missy started grade school.
Bethany and Maurecia live on another island part of town from Elizabeth and their parents. Despite Eliza having to raise a child, she has more funds to start out with than Maurecia who has yet to have any of her own. Bethany understandably starts out with the least amount of funds.
If NRaas Story Progression is on, and none of the households are started off, Bethany becomes the town bike (which sometimes leads to her and her husband divorcing if she is not careful, usually also preceded by her chasing Hudson Dawnflower); Colby becomes the town nerd; Huey becomes the town brat; Elizabeth and Dean typically carry on as they do, as do Missy, Liana, Patrice, and BJ; and Maurecia and Hugh typically end up splitting unless they are forced to have a child.
It is understood that Patrice typically sleeps on the couch. Two of the bedrooms are for her twin siblings to each get one, one is for her toddler brother, and another for her parents.
Missy, Bethany, and Colby usually turn into celebrities if left alone. Because of this, the former thinks her cousins unworthy of her "star presence".
Marty was meant for Huey and Precious was meant for Liana. Each pet has best friends forever status with their respective twin.
The Hillman sister's names match up with the age they are supposed to be to one another: Elizabeth is the eldest sister, Maurecia is in the middle, and Bethany is supposed to be the baby.
The runaway pets, Sadie and Daveed, currently live in town with Britney Duffy.
