Janae Clavell (née Wrotek) was the First Lady of the United States as the wife of Martin Clavell I. Janae and Martin were married and divorced twice, the final split resulting in Janae living alone for the rest of her life. She was also the mother of Lillian and Bessie Clavell, both actresses.

Early Life[edit | edit source]

When Janae Wrotek was a child, she moved to Sunsetn Valley with her single mother, Lillian Wrotek, two brothers and a sister. Lillian was very young when she had Janae, her first child, and never married.

First Marriage to Martin Clavell[edit | edit source]

Janae was at the library when she first met Martin Clavell. She charmed him with her great sense of humour and cheerful demeanour. Martin soon proposed and they had a beach wedding. The couple had two daughters, Lilian and Bessie, who both became actresses. During this time Janae supported her husband's campaigns and work as President.

Divorce and Second Marriage[edit | edit source]

Janae's mother Lillian caught Martin having an affair with a local woman at the gym, and decided to tell the media. Janae was disgusted and divorced Martin in a fury.

Martin pleaded with Janae and told her he was his true love, and although reluctant at first, Janae accepted his advancements and agreed to remarry him, not telling the public about their brief divorce.

Janae and Martin lived happily together for a few years, but Janae never felt fully right with the second marriage. Her daughters felt much closer to their father, and Janae was not close with her mother or siblings. She rarely accepted Martin's romantic advances, and one night, after a disagreement with him, she decided to go to her mother's house for the night. She began cooking a barbeque but Lillian came and told her that was inappropriate behaviour and that she should leave. Janae, distant from her own daughters, not content with her marriage and being disregarded by her mother, returned home depressed.

Second Divorce[edit | edit source]

After this it became obvious that the marriage was not going to work out. Martin and Janae divorced, this time calmly and rationally, with the plan of a break period from married life before hopefully remarrying in the future. Martin bought Janae a nice cottage a few blocks away.

Every day after work Martin went over to Janae's house and they started their relationship from scratch, pretending they had just met each other. They shared many romantic dinners at this time, and most nights Martin would sleep at Janae's home.

ALthough all seemed to be going well, the chemistry from their younger days simply didn't seem to be there, and Martin called the relationship off. He later remarried to Carly Guy and had two sons with her.

Janae became estranged from Martin and her daughters. One day she saw her daughters signing autographs in Sunset Valley, and asked for one. They refused to give her one.

Janae never remarried, but had a boyfriend for a time. She worked as a scientist and remained in her Sunset Valley home, Cottage Cheese, until she died there of old age aged 82.
