Jera Skelton (Previously Skullfinder, Curious, Moldano and Bellemy) is the deceased mother of Arabella Reaper and thus ancestor to most of the Reaper family.

Young Adult Years

Jera married Vincent Skullfinder and found herself in a life of peace and wealth, a life she attached to deeply. All was well until many years into the marriage, Jera fell pregnant with her first child. While Vincent was very excited about a new addition of the family, Jera was not as she was afraid to share her luxuries with anyone even her own child. Jera left Vincent, taking their child and a majority of his fortune with her.

Jera moved into a large house in Twinbrook and settled well into the town. Here she met the hard-working, Steward Curious. Jera gained his and all the town's sympathies by creating a story of how her husband had kicked her out and how she was all alone and going to have to raise a child on her own. Despite his dislike for children, Steward offered his services to Jera and the two begun dating.

Jera and Steward were engaged by the time Arabella Skelton was born. Neither of her parents being very fond of children, Arabella was always taken cared of by a babysitter or a friendly neighbor. By the time Arabella was a toddler, Jera and Steward were married and not so much as a dime was wasted on the wedding.

Money came in lesser amounts and tension was threatening Jera's marriage. When their situation didn't show sign of getting better, Jera took this as her queue to the leave now. A week after running off with what was left of Steward's wealth, a meteor hit the Curious home and everything was destroyed including Steward himself. Thankfully, Jera had taken Arabella along with her. Jera didn't bring her daughter with her because she necessarily like Arabella but because Arabella looked exactly like Jera and Jera loved the way she looked.

Jera moved to Bridgeport and played the same sob-story and quickly won the heart of another rich man. This time Tilman Abbot. Jera and Arabella's residence in Bridgeport was short. This time only Jera was only engaged to Tilman before running off with his money.

Jera continued her schemes in Starlight Shores and Champs Les Sims with Terry Moldano and Tim Doorson, leaving both of the men deceased. She now carried hundred of thousand of simoleons with her.

Adulthood

Jera finally settled down in Hidden Springs and won over the town and rapidly was promoted to CEO of one of the finest businesses in town, though she mostly stay in the comfort her her mansion while her Department Heads did all the work. Jera married the Vanderburg's butler, Gregor Bellemy, in order to become close to the powerful family.

When Arabella was old enough, she left her mother and went to university to become an author and cut off all communications. Jera was now free of all responsibilities.

Elder Years

Jera's life was basically the same rich indulgence all through adult and elderhood (excluding the sudden death of her husband). Through her late years, Jera soon found she was getting weaker and realized that her time was near. She took all of her money, jewelry and anything valuable to her and hid it. The next day Jera died in her sleep and was buried in Shady Pine Historical Cemetery. To this very day her fortune has not been found.

Onomatology

Jera - Named after Jera from a comic series called Off-White.

Skelton - Named after Meg Skelton from Joseph Delaney's series The Last Apprentice. Also similar to the word skeleton, meaning a bony corpse.

Trivia

• Arabella is unaware Jera is deceased as is the rest of her family.
• Jera and Arabella have exactly the same physical feaures (prior to Arabella's hair turning gray).
• Jera is very similar to Olive Specter, as both had many husbands and romantic relationships, whom most mysteriously died. However, all of Jera's relationships were based off a greed for money and all off her partners died after the relationship ended.
