John Burb (or Johnny Burb) is a well known resident in my player stories in The Sims 2 in Pleasantview. He is the son of the late Brad and Tiffany Burb (née Marsh), the uncle of Angela and Lilith Pleasant, the husband of Jennifer Burb (née Pleasant), and the father of Lucy Burb. John is voiced by David Boat and is 21 days from being an Elder.

John and the other Family bin Sims in Pleasantview were deleted the first time I played the Sims 2, so he didn't appear until I changed computers and re-did everything that had happened in my gameplay from scratch.

In my player stories John proudly continued the family traditions and grew a perfect garden. He keeps the garden in shape when he isn't at work. John is now employed in the Law Enforcement Career, which he started off as a Security Guard. This sort of career is sure to keep John in shape because he was somewhat close to becoming fat at the beginning of the game.

Having a career has ended the chances of John being a "stay at home" dad, but that doesn't seem to matter anymore. Unlike most Sims, John doesn't dislike or consider the former town gangster, my CAS Kingston Starker an enemy. He also doesn't seem to be prejudiced against Kingston's son Rifle who is falsely accused of being his father's successor. So it is unclear whether John approves of his daughter's friendship with Rifle.

The head-shot of John that I uploaded (seen above) is less polygonal and more detailed than the original. He is one of the few Sims in my game who is a Vegetarian. John is one of the Sims that I have interpreted as a "senior figure". This is mainly due to his clothing, and having a deep voice.
