Juliette Capp
Biography
Now that she's grown up, married, and working in the family business, Juliette wonders what she ever saw in Romeo. Does her question have an answer?
Juliette Capp is the middle child and eldest daughter of the late Cordelia Capp, who herself was the eldest daughter of the late Contessa Capp, making Juliette the official head of the Capp family. She lives in Capp Manor with her husband Paris and their young daughter Imogen. Though she is the head of the family on paper, her aunt Goneril currently has control of Capp & Ulett Legal; Juliette works there as an Executive, where Goneril can properly prepare her for true business leadership.
As a teenager, Juliette was reluctant to embrace her inheritance, largely because of her relationship with Romeo Monty. Despite her grandfather and brother repeatedly informing her of the Monty family's mob connections, she would insist that Romeo was innocent and Consort and Tybalt shouldn't hold a grudge against every Monty for things that Patrizio and Claudio did. During this time, her grades took a noticeable turn for the worse. For a time she could count on her sister Hermia and cousin Miranda to support her in her love, but both eventually switched sides, citing Romeo's alleged cheating and the Monty mob ties, respectively.
Yet, as vehement as her arguments for staying with Romeo were, Juliette found her feelings dimming as graduation approached, until one day she looked into Romeo's eyes and wondered what she had ever seen in him. The breakup was met with relief by her relatives, but Juliette still wonders why she was with Romeo in the first place. Romeo, for his part, still appears to be smitten with Juliette, and attempts to flirt with her at every opportunity.
Early in her career, Juliette was introduced to Paris Prince by her father. With similar goals interests, they quickly became good friends and fell in love, much to Consort's delight. Though Consort passed away before their wedding, Juliette takes some comfort in knowing that he would be happy for them.
In the canon Veronaville, Juliette's mother is the youngest child of Consort and Contessa Capp, but I made her the eldest because the family tree already named her as such, it made the game calling Juliette "the Capp heiress" make sense, and it fit better with the relative ages of the Capps in Juliette's generation.
