Kavi Loner (nee Sparks) is part of the Strange Palms fanon project, in which the back story of Strangetown is played out in Lucky Palms over three generations. He is the son of Lucky Palms residents Piper Sparks and Sahan Diwan. He is a Sims 3 reworking of existing sim, Kavi Loner from The Sims 2, and will later be the grandfather of Ajay Loner.

Family Background

Kavi was born when Piper was a teen. His birth turned out to be the breaking point between Piper and her father and Piper moved out. He and his mother lived with Sahan and his parents for a while, but the relationship broke down. Piper changed her name to 'Loner', cutting all ties to her father and partner, and wound up raising young Kavi in the same motel where Pansy Northrop stayed when she was a single mum. Kavi spent much of his childhood there, playing near the army base and pretending to fish in the dried up lake. He has great dreams for life, and is very amiable, but doesn't seem to show much potential.

Kavi's grandfather Taj was travelling a lot in Egypt, investigating MorcuCorp. His travels, and the relics he brought back, influenced Kavi's love of Egyptian food and music. Young Kavi idolizes his grandfather, and aspires to 'save the world' himself some day.

Teen Years

Kavi meets Jeevika at the pool (the cheap, nasty one by the dry lake, not the nice luxurious one in town) and the pair hit off instantly. They agree to go to prom together, only shortly before the prom, Jeevika's mother passes away. Jeevika is in a bad place, and she and Kavi grow close. Before long, Jeevika is pregnant. She and baby Vikram are housed with a foster family for a while, and she continues to see Kavi. Kavi adores both Jeevika and their new baby, and their relationship goes from strength to strength. When she turns eighteen, Jeevika inherits her mother's house, and Kavi proposes.

Adulthood

Jeevika and Kavi marry shortly after they become young adults. (Unfortunate Kavi turns up in the tattered remains of his Class As following a fracas at the barracks.) Vikram, now a child, attends the ceremony with much of their extended family. He gets on particularly well with Kavi's father, Sahan. Piper puts aside her grievances with her former boyfriend for the ceremony, and everyone is supportive of the new couple. They go to live in Naomi's old house together, as Kavi particularly likes the underground bunker. He's started work in the Military, and is hearing talk of alien invasions! Suddenly, Naomi Nita's 'zombie apocalypse' survival plan doesn't sound so ridiculous!

As he grows older, Kavi Loner lives up to his name, locked away with his family in their secluded house on the docks. He loses contact with his old friends, and socializes only with his immediate relations, and fellow military personnel. He and Jeevika re-fortify the bunker, preparing for the day the aliens invade Lucky Palms.
