Lars Beaker was the son of Jenson and Sarah Beaker. He is a descendant of the Curious family through his mother and is the first Sim to not be considered a Curious family member anymore. Remarkable is that neither parents show any alien genes, but Lars does. He has the same skin color as his grandfather.

Later in life he married Mandy Beaker and they got a son together named Lotus.

Biography

Babyhood

The birth of Lars had a lot of backlash. He was immediately welcomed into his mother's side of the family, but his father's side and especially his grandparents weren't all too excited with his looks. Not a fan of the alien gene and having expressed that various times towards Jenson, Loki and Circe were incredibly disappointed when Lars came out sporting the alien skin tone. Luckily for Lars he immediately jumped to his defense and made clear that they had to accept Lars because he is his son and their grandson. It was the last time they spoke about it. To honor his father's family heritage he was given a Scandinavian name.

Toddlerhood

Lars grew up in a house with a lot of Sims, which made it easy for him to be overlooked. His first cousin once removed, Drew Curious was involved in a difficult situation where both his ex-fiancée Genesis and very pregnant new wife Aiyana were living under the same roof as them. Even though Lars' parents had to pay a lot of attention to them to make sure things wouldn't escalate they still tried their best to teach him his toddler skills. Sarah made sure that Lars was running around the halls in no time, while Jenson taught him how to potty in a silly pirate hat and made sure he could recite the alphabet and more with ease. He meets very few people of his father's side of the family, but his mother's is always around. Here he meets Deena, who is technically his third cousin but the two grow so close that they refer to themselves as cousins.

Childhood

Although he is not really that interested in school, Lars is put in private school as both Jenson and Sarah think this will be good for him. He is excited to learn that Deena is at the same school as well and he will have a friend there. His father works a lot but Lars notices that he always tries his best to show up to events for him. His mother, trying to balance her work and her demanding family has a harder time showing up for him leaving Lars disappointed at times. In school he meets Mandy Grunt, who is the daughter of Ripp and Margaret Grunt and the two become instant friends. He loves the many inappropriate or silly stories she has, like the one where her grandfather hated aliens so much that his son ended up marrying one. And if that's not silly enough her uncle named his child after her grandfather!

Teenhood

Moving onto high school, Lars feels like he is finally comfortable in his classes, and enjoys his friendships with Deena and Mandy. His situation at home seems better too, as his mother has more time for him and his father doesn't need to overcompensate so much anymore. He is confused when Mandy starts acting weird around him and asks Deena what is going on. She tells him that Mandy obviously has a crush on him and that if he likes he should ask her out on a date. Surprised, and not realizing that Mandy could have ever been something more than a friend, Lars tells her that he'll think about it. The next time Mandy shows up to hang out he hands are a single rose and asks her out on a date. She happily agrees and after a very successful date the two share their first kiss. They start dating only shortly after.

Lars' parents suggest that he should think about possible any further education, but he declines their offer and explains that he already knows what he wants to do, and doesn't need college for that.

Adulthood

After graduating high school, Lars lays out his plan to follow into his mother's footsteps and join the entertainment career. At first his parents don't seem very excited for this, but they realize that Lars is an adult now and he should make his own choices. Feeling like he should move out of a home that is not his anymore, he asks Mandy to move in with him and together they look for a new home. After settling into their new home Mandy finds out she is pregnant and even though it was unexpected, both Lars and Mandy are thrilled to become parents. They decide to marry in a small ceremony with just their parents invited.

Lars does well in his career, but is nervous for fatherhood and often has great talks with his father Jenson on why he did certain things the way he did, hoping it would prepare Lars. All his nerves float away when his beautiful son Lotus is born.

Mandy and himself having a great time raising Lotus and somehow seem to perfectly balance the work and family life. When his toddler skills need to be taught Lars teaches him how to use the potty, while Mandy does a little bit more of the heavy lifting and teaches him how to walk and talk. Lars tries to involve his parents Jenson and Sarah as much as possible in little Lotus' life, as he know that their time with them is only limited. His father passes away first, which is a big blow for Lars as he loved his father dearly. His mother follows quickly after leaving his already small family a little smaller.

As Lotus is ready for school, Lars asks if Mandy would mind if they put them in private school, something he know his parents would have liked, and would have called "tradition", which might have meant "old-fashioned" instead. Mandy agrees on the condition as long as Lotus has a good time. Luckily he does and seems to be a great and patient student for SimCity Academy.

Matching his mother's success, Lars reaches the top of his career and is extremely satisfied. Having to work a little more and Mandy also climbing up the ladder, they decide to hire a babysitter for Lotus. Their babysitter Nicole Thompson and Lotus becoming great friends as they are only a few years apart. When Lotus becomes older, Nicole sticks around and eventually the two end up dating. Although a little worried about the perhaps odd start of their relationship, Lars is happy for them as he really likes Nicole.

Elderhood

With Lotus growing up as a wonderful adult, Lars realizes that the years are flying by and sooner or later he won't be around anymore. He retires and makes sure that he can spend as much time with Lotus as he will still allow. He is happy for them when Lotus and Nicole announce their engagement and loved their wedding. Becoming great friends with Nicole as she has very little family in Strangetown, he had the honor of giving her away. Mandy cried through the whole thing, while Lars just loved being around his family every moment.

On that next day, Nicole pulled Mandy and Lars aside and told them the great news that she was expecting. She hadn't told Lotus yet and was hoping that they would be willing to be part of a great masterplan. Both thrilled to become grandparents immediately agreed and a whole dance flash mob choreography was rehearsed that afternoon. Lotus was touched with this gesture of his family and spend the whole day with watery eyes.

Belle Beaker was born and Lars was just as in love with his granddaughter as he was with his son. He had the privilege of spending a few more years with his wife, son and granddaughter before passing away of old age.
