Every family has its own perturbating element, and Lawrence is the Simerburg's one. Unruly child, he is not interested in his family lores at all. In fact, he is dreaming about a life of freedom.
Tired of his father's speaches about legacy and traditions, Lawrence decided to buy his own house, so he could live the life he wanted. Will he ever find a way to forgive his father?
Lawrence Simerburg was created by Vl4dimir-g0thik. He and his twin sister Anna are the first children of Karl and Geneviève Simerburg. Lawrence is a very outgoing Sim, who likes to flirt and seduce ladies, a bit like Don Lothario. He also has very complicated relationships with his father, and often argues with him about the family succession.
In The Sims, Lawrence and Anna are children. They just got into private school. Lawrence knows Cassandra Goth, but his father does not want him to play with her. He is also friend with the young Daniel Pleasant. Karl thinks that Lawrence is not a good heir because he is too excited and not interested enough in the family lore.
In The Sims 2, Lawrence and Anna are adults. Between The Sims and The Sims 2, Lawrence decided to get closer to Cassandra, and they even almost ended up together. However, Cassandra's mother was abducted right before Lawrence attempted his first kiss, and Cassandra rejected him.
Before the beginning of the game, Lawrence had a violent argument with his father. Indeed, Karl does not agree with Lawrence's life and career, and wants him to choose a "correct career". This made Lawrence angry and after losing a fight against his father, he decided to leave the house. He now lives in a trailer next to the Brokes. He also met Nina Caliente, and is romantically interested in her, even if she only has a crush on him.
In The Sims 4, Lawrence and Anna are teens. Contrary to their relationship in The Sims and The Sims 2, they now strongly dislike each other. Lawrence has a crush on Cassandra Goth, which strongly reminds his teenage years between The Sims and The Sims 2, and is friend with Malcolm Landgraab. He is also best friend with Nina Caliente, friend with Katrina and Dina Caliente and dislikes Don Lothario. The reason for this may be because Don thinks that Lawrence wants to seduce Nina, while he is already romantically interested in her.
As in The Sims and The Sims 2, Lawrence does not have a good relationship with his father.
