Leona Hutchworth
Biography
'Leona's always been a loner since she moved to Pleasantview. She's had the support from her brother's friends, but no one else.'
Leona Mary "Lee" Grunt (née Hutchworth) is an adult from England, residing in Pleasantview. She is married to Ripp Grunt and she has two children: Chris and Lyla. She is the younger sister of Richie.
Leona was born on 23 August 1998 in Birmingham, UK. At a young age, Leona had an allergic reaction their pet cat, but has built up some immunity against them since then.
Leona was always quiet, but very talented. She progressed well in school.
Her brother, Richie, had always received a bit more attention than Leona, mainly because he was much more confident.
Shortly before turning 14, Leona and her family moved to Pleasantview. Leona and her brother used to teamwork to help each other learn Simlish before school started again. Richie benefited from this more, and Leona struggled for an additional month. By that time, she hadn't communicated with anyone, so she decided she was better off alone.
On the 10 January 2013, Leona's father, John, died in a car crash. Since Leona never had any friends, she drifted further into an independent lifestyle. She had turned from shy to anti-social.
Her brother recovered from this loss quicker because he had found the love of his life. Angela's support had helped him immensely.
When Leona joined Sim State University, her brother and his friends were in their Junior year. Leona was offered to share a private residence with Angela and Lilith. This made Leona more confident of herself and she became best friends with both of them.
When the Pleasant twins departed, Leona found it hard to sleep after the summer break. She feared she may have developed insomnia.
During her first lesson of the year, she met Ripp Grunt, who had just moved from Strangetown. She offered him a place to stay, and the two started to become friends.
When the five year anniversary of her father's death came around, it affected Lee badly. Ripp came in a supported her for the rest of the day and, in a similar fashion to her brother, Leona revealed that she loved Ripp. The two remained in the same spot for the rest of the day, waiting for night to fall, and the clocks to reset the time to 00.00, showing the day had finished.
Lee got married to Ripp Grunt, becoming Leona Grunt. Together the couple were surprised when Lee had twins, one boy, named Christopher Michael, or "Chris", and the girl Lyla Jennifer, in honour of Ripp's late mother.
