Martin Lothario, known as Marty, is an adult who lives in Pleasantview with his wife, Allegra and his daughter Sophie. He is the son of Don and Cassanrda Lothario, grandson of Mortimer and Bella Goth, and the younger twin brother of Donnie.

Early Life

Marty grew up with Donnie and Alexander in the comfortable Goth mansion. Marty, as well as Donnie, learned all three Toddler skills. As children, the boys learned to study and achieved A+ grades, to their parent's delight.

Teen Life

Marty is the quieter of the twins, inheriting his mother's characteristics. He likes talking to people, especially his closest friends, such as Angela or his brother. Marty has learnt to play guitar, much to approval of his friends.

Marty first met Richie on the first day back after the summer break. He is seen to be a slight sports fan, but not as avid as his brother. He gets along well with Dirk Dreamer

A few months later, Marty consoles Leona over the death of her father in an attempt to break out of his shy shell. He explains that he gets bullied at school because his grandmother has vanished off the earth and the seven year age gap between him and his uncle (Alexander was 3 when his sister gave birth to the twins).

One day at school. Marty finds himself being picked on by a bully, until Dustin and Richie protect him, getting themselves suspended in the process.

College life details

It is presumed Marty shared a private residence with his brother and Richie. He took the History major. He graduated Cum Laude.

He never made friends, simply because no one would actually talk to him. However, he seemed to get along with Allegra Gorey. These two weren't the best of friends, but Allegra often helped Marty overcome his shyness. Since these two met, Marty has been a more confident individual.

Marty did not see eye-to-eye with Martin Ruben. Ever since Marty met Allegra, he and Martin were always arguing. Jane and Allegra would often try to break it up. After three weeks of constant arguing, Donnie ensured Martin would leave his baby brother alone. Unfortunately, this sparked a feud between Donnie and Joshua Ruben.

Adulthood

After Marty left college, his life was peaceful. He became a high school teacher, and spent many evenings with Donnie and Amy, his brother's girlfriend. It seemed, like with Dirk, Dustin and Richie, those three were a close trio.

After Donnie and Amy's engagement, his Bella Goth returned, allowing the family to be whole once again, after 20 years.

Six months later, Marty was deeply affected by the loss of his grandfather, Mortimer Goth. He sought comfort in Richie, Donnie and Allegra.

As if by accident, the hopeless romantic fell in love with Allegra Gorey. His big secret is he felt jealous of Castor Nova when Allegra loved him. A huge fight resulted in the break up of the "happy" couple.

Soon, Allegra and Marty fell for each other. They got married and had one daughter. Their daughter is best friends with Richie's son, Paddy.
