Mei's childhood and teen years are never mentioned, but is probably when she met her future husband, Kahn. Some time she and Kahn had a daughter, named Gwen. After moving in to 57 Road to Nowhere and hearing what happened to Aaron and Ariana Albeit and their son, Mei wanted to adopt Kellyn right away, but Kahn took some time to think about it and was extremely excited that he said yes. At some point she got a job in the Science career after moving in. She taught all of Gwen's toddler skills, and taught Kellyn how to walk. Also she and Kahn had Nervous Subject stay at the lot to escape the Beakers' abuse to him. She was heartbroken when Gwen and Kellyn went to La Fiesta Tech. Prior to Gwen leaving for college, she reached the top of the Science career, Mad Scinetist. She witnessed Gwen and Nervous getting married and Kellyn and Heather getting married as well. Olive Specter moved into the lot after Nervous was married, something she wasn't happy about at first. She immediately retired from being a Mad Scientist after becoming an elder. Mei and her husband, Kahn, died after the birth of Gwen and Nervous' daughter's birth (She died after Kahn). Her grave can be found in the Wong family graveyard, behind the house on the lot. She never achieved her lifetime want of having 6 children being married.
