Nessie Santander is an adult Sim in Pleasantview. She is the 3rd person in the 2nd generation of the de Lore family.

Biography

Baby and Childhood Years

Nessie de Lore was born to Shona de Lore and Matt de Lore as their first daughter. She became Shona's secret favourite, who had been longing for a girly baby girl, and thus received a pink princess room.

Shona was becoming famous through her career in Show Business, while Matt's discoveries in Natural Science also made him well-known, so naturally, Nessie became known too.

When Nessie became a toddler, she was unintentionally neflected by her parents because of their busy work schedule. She was often seen playing with her toys, and was only fed by their butler or by one of her older brothers, Daniel and Elliot. All of her toddler skills were taught to her by Daniel.

Daniel soon left for college and Nessie grew into a child. Shona and Matt decided to adopt another girl, Theresa. Nessie was initially wary of her, but they quickly became close. Shona often forced the two to dress coordinately and in pink outfits, but Nessie usually took advantage of their school's optional uniform to avoid it.

Nessie had an average of A grades and was known as one of the smartest people in her year, while Theresa was known as the popular girl with the popular parents. At one point, Nessie became jealous of her popularity and they snubbed each other, but they quickly made up.

Teen Years

When Nessie started high school, she maintained her good grades and was already thinking about college. In the same year, Daniel came back with his girlfriend Chloe Gonzaga, Elliot left for college, and their parents became elders. She and Theresa were still forced to be 'girly' and Shona was dropping hints on going into the Show Business career.

Daniel and Chloe got married in their large back garden, and received many gifts from family friends. One of them was a Cowplant, and Matt warned his family to stay away from it.

One night, Shona saw the Cowplant holding a cake with its tongue and, feeling slightly hungry, decided to steal it, but got eaten instead. Matt foundnout first and, devastated, waited for the cow to get hungry and let it eat him.

The kids were shocked and saddened by their parents' deaths, Theresa more than the others. She decided to go into the Paranormal career to discover a way to get them back, and Nessie joined her. They also changed their room and style into darker tones during that period as a memorial.

Nessie applied for the 'Orphaned Sims Assistance Fund', the 'Hogan Award for Athletics', and the 'SimCity Scholar's Grant' for Sim State University, and was accepted.

College Years

Nessie and Theresa went to Sim State University together, staying in a rented home built for the de Lored and breaking the tradition of staying in a certain dorm. Nessie took up Physics as a major. While Theresa was engrossed in her studies, Nessie felt lonely and didn't think she was living the 'college life' that her brothers always talked about, so she convinced Theresa to move to a dorm.

Although she was in a dorm with six other people, her Senior brother included, Nessie still felt ahe was missing something. Now a Sophomore, she talked to Elliot and he suggested that she go on a date with one of his classmates. However, since Theresa disapproved of doing anything but studying, Nessie had to go on her dates behind her back. She eventually met Craig Santander, and they got along so well that they decided to go out daily, but only each semester so that Theresa doesn't get too suspicious.

At the end of their first semester of Senior year, Theresa revealed that she had secretly been dating her professor, Amanda Do, so Nessie reveals her secret, too. They decide to go on a double date, and Nessie and Craig Woohoo for the first time.

Nessie and Theresa both graduated with the Magna cum Laude honor.

Adult Years

Nessie moved out of the campus and into a new home with Craig, Theresa and Amanda. She and Theresa find jobs in the Paranormal career, and search for a way to get their parents back. Nessie left the house decorating to Theresa, which she quickly regretted, since she decorated it using only the colours black, red and brown.

Craig later proposes to Nessie, and Theresa to Amanda, and the two couples have a large double wedding with their family and friends. Craig and Nessie Santander go on their honeymoon, where Nessie becomes pregnant. Theresa and Amanda decide to adopt a child named Mallory, who Nessie becomes close friends with.

Nessie soon gives birth to her first child, a girl they name Michaela. Mallory adores her and insists on sharing a room with her.

The adults advance fast in their careers. Nessie and Theresa are both Mediums when they find an object that can bring Matt and Shona back to life - the Resurrect-O-Nomitron, a phone that can call the Grim Reaper. Nessie phones the Grim Reaper and pays 20,000 Simoleons to get both Matt and Shona back, and succeeds.

When the people of Pleasantview find out, everyone goes crazy. Sims from all ends of the town flocked to Nessie's house, wanting to get a glimpse of Pleasantview's famous couple. Although she didn't show it, Nessie was bothered greatly by this, as she wanted a normal life.

Since she had completed her goal of brining her parents back, Nessie decided to quit her job and join the Education career. Theresa didn't take this well and the sisters argued, making them furious at each other for weeks. With help from Amanda, however, they made up.

Matt and Shona soon died of old age. This time, the elders requested that they don't resurrect them again, as they are content with their life as it is. Nonetheless, Nessie is again saddened.

Another devastation happens soon afterwards. Mallory, who had become a teenager, drowned after swimming in their new swimming pool. Nessie falls into depression but is cheered up by Craig and Michaela. The same can't be said for Amanda, who quits her job as a professor and becomes a criminal.

Nessie, now a high school teacher and guest lecturer at Sim State University, receives a bookshelf from a college professor that she discovers is enchanted. She phones the professor and asks how this happened, and he sends a witch to her - an evil witch named Arleen Perdon. Although Nessie makes it clear that she is not an evil person, the two become close friends and Arleen turns her into a witch.

Because Arleen was an evil witch, Nessie also became an evil witch. Wanting to change into a good witch, she goes to the Palace of Neverending Light amd talks to the good witch, Barbara Adams, but she is denied. Determined to prove her wrong, Nessie locks herself in room with a cauldron and a spell book and doesn't come out for a few days, reading the book non-stop and casting Bedemoodus Simae every so often. When she came out, she is no longer green, but normal-skinned and shining. Barbara is shocked, but bows down to her.

Nessie was shocked to find out that Theresa had been cheating on Amanda with Theresa's vampire best friend, Contessa Robin Wade. The family is heartbroken when they break up, but accept Robin into the family when they got married.

Michaela grows into a teen and Nessie has another child, a boy named Shimmy. Because of the changes in the family, Theresa lets Nessie remodel the house, who turns it into a large, bright family home. Michaela constantly begs her mother to turn her into a witch, but Nessie, fearing she'll become an evil witch, refuses. Michaela gets angry and finds an evil witch, who then turns her into an evil witch. Nessie is disappointed in her daughter.

Nessie is now a college Dean, and an InFallibly Good witch, while her daughter is trying to be an Atrociously Evil witch. Determined for this not to happen, Nessie slips her Magically Spiced Sugar and, now temporarily nice, listens to Nessie and agrees that she shouldn't be a witch anymore.

Earning her last promotion the following day, Nessie is now the Education Minister. Happy and fulfilled with her life, she is now taking up gardening and fishing in her spare time.
