Nikita Deux (born Nikita Jane-Isabella Deux; November 12, 1984), is an American singer, songwriter, fashion designer, and former model. She is the eldest cousin of Dina and Nina Caliente (formerly Bachelor).
Early Life[edit | edit source]
Nikita was born and raised in Downtown SimCity, she is the eldest child of Samuel-James Deux and Daniella Deux (née Caliente), both were also former popular musicians, on the record label Monster Records Ltd., she has a younger brother named Marcus, who she frequently visits at his College, Académie Le Tour.
At the age of 4, Nikita discovered a passion for both Music and Fashion, learning the Guitar from this early age and learing from Fashion icons and designers from all over the world, she slowly became increasingly fonder of both subjects, eventually she was recruited by Madame La Jones, a famous Sim-fashion designer, and as her assistant she dropped out of College and went on to study her love of Fashion even further, whilst her Musical passion took a backseat.
Career Change[edit | edit source]
At the age of 21, Nikita had gotten no where in the Fashion Industry, and one evening when she was on a "Hot Date" she sang on a Karaoke set, her voice was regarded as "stunning" by those who heard her, and after her performance, Joshua Lee, owner of Monster Records Ltd., the same record label both her mother and father worked on, offered her a recording session with some of the best Producers in the business.
After only 2 recording sessions, she was offered a contract with the label as their Headline Artist.
In recent interviews, she has revealed that she creates the most of her clothing, "Yes, I do create the majority of my own clothing, for performance purposes, for artistic purposes... it's all up here [in my head], however, I do wear some fashion by the 'undiscovered talent' of the fashion industry, because I find that undiscovered designers have a more artistic outlook on the way which an outfit represents who you are, you are your fashion and your art".
The SMVAs and 'Dream'[edit | edit source]
In late 2010, Nikita announced that her debut album 'Dream' was "almost finished", with "just a few minor tweaks needed", she also announced that her debut single was coming around mid 2011, after the infamous SMVAs, which she would be attending in support of her cousin Dina's nominations.
Then during the after-show party, she announced that her debut single would be a song entitled "Bleeding Love" which would feature a new, unknown artist.
She later announced that on the day of the album's release she would be joining the social network site Twitter, and she would be 'tweeting' quite frequently about all the events that where coming up later this year.
' Dream', so far, is expected to be released later this year around the same time as her birthday November 12.
