Paris Capp
Biography
Paris considers himself a proper Old Country gentleman, though in truth he would much rather stay at home and raise a family than attend an endless series of upper-class cocktail parties. His hobbies include weekly visits to local art galleries and designing fancy suits.

Paris Capp (ne Prince) is the husband of Juliette Capp in my version of Veronaville. He lives in the Capp Manor with his wife and their young daughter Imogen, where he plays the role of house-husband and stay-at-home dad, and occasionally designs men's formalwear.

Paris grew up in the old country as the only child of a wealthy family, but secretly found the culture stifling and moved to Veronaville for a not-too-big change of pace. He quickly befriended local businessman Consort Capp, who introduced him to Juliette. The two bonded over their mutual interests in art, fashion, and starting a large family, and were married after a whirlwind romance, with Paris agreeing to give up his last name and become a part of the Capp family. Since meeting Juliette, he has become acquainted with most of the Capp relatives, and is generally on good terms with them.

Though Paris is a newcomer to Veronaville, he has already found a place in the Capp/Monty rivalry as enemies with Romeo Monty, who constantly attempts to flirt with his wife.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Paris is named after Count Paris, Juliet's aristocratic suitor from Romeo and Juliet. In the play, he is killed by Romeo in a duel outside the Capulet mausoleum. His "maiden" name is a reference to the fact that the original Paris was a relative of a prince.
  • All of Paris's relatives who share the Prince surname have alliterative names.
