Payton was born around the early 21st century to Cole Reed and Sandi Reed. He was always an outcast to people. He had no siblings, which led him to enjoy his solitude. Although he did have the company of his mother's babysitter kids. His hair is naturally blonde and his mom, dad, aunt, uncle, and cousins liked it, but he didn't and wasn't allowed to dye his hair until he was a teenager. He didn't ever socialize at school unless it was with his cousin Isaac. He was very good friends with Florence as well because they both shared a love of the outdoors. His relationship with his mom was very shaky at first. He didn't like her too much because her kids were always too loud and no matter where he went in the house he was always distracted by them. Some of his favorite activities include being outdoors when it's sunny and warm which is ironic.
By his teens he had died his blonde hair to black and he actually spent a whole summer with his cousins before high school and it changed him. He became more sociable and happy to those around him. After that he and his mom took a trip to Bridgeport. The middle-aged man in the hotel room next to them was named Alexander French. Sandi nor Payton didn't recognize him. He told them he once had a girlfriend he was deeply in love with, until she got pregnant and he wanted nothing to do with her because he wasn't ready to be a father. Sandi then said that's the story her single mom, Molly French told her about her dad she never new. Then Alexander realized... Sandi was his daughter and took off without a single word. This was the only time he had ever spoken to his (maternal) grandfather...
