Phillip “Phil” Hallaway was a witch who resided in Moonlight Falls during his lifetime. He was the husband of Annabeth Hallaway and the father of Alexandra Hallaway.
Phil was a witch who were not so into the craft, although he at least managed to learn a few spells, but he rarely practiced his powers as he was too lazy, either he went out with his buddies or flirt with a few girls. He was a carefree and a laid back guy.
On a winter day, Phil was taking a stroll around the park. He met Annabeth, his future wife, when the two were ice skating, and they both fell, and they helped each other. Since then, they became best friends and they went to prom together
Phil grew up, and married his long time sweetheart, Annabeth on 1957. The couple moved out to their own house. On 1959, Anna give birth to a daughter, Alexandra. The couple moved to Anna’s childhood home after Anna’s father died, to look after Anna’s mother.
Not long after Anna’s mother died, and Alex, his daughter, was just a toddler, an evil witch ambushed the house and attacked the family. Because Phil rarely practiced his magic, he barely defended himself, and the evil witch cursed Phil with the eternal hunger curse, and then Phil died out of starvation. His wife managed to vanquish him and she and their daughter survived
